Jenny's Spring Garden 2007
The spring of 2007 had some of the coldest weather that San Diego has had in many years. A bad freeze killed much of the citrus and avocado crops in the county. Jen's orchids were budding and every blossom that had opened was destroyed. Still, working her magic, the garden was in full bloom by April. Jen's next battle is to keep ahead of three hungry wild baby rabbits that come through our fence. She wants to guard her flowers but she also wants the company of these little bundles of fur. They like petunias' the best.
